Dr. Young graduated with Distinction from the University of Alberta, earning both a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, along with the James McCutcheon and Silver Medal awards for outstanding academic and clinical achievements. He helped open Monterey Dental Centre in 1993 and has been proudly serving the community since. He is a surgical instructor for The Institute for Dental Excellence and a director with the Alberta Health Care Steering Committee, where he makes health recommendations to government agencies to better serve the Alberta public. When he’s not practicing dentistry or educating, Dr. Young enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle and travelling the world.

Dr. Laura Boghian has been in dentistry for more than ten years and earned her Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta. Dr. Boghian enjoys reading, skating, and hiking outside of the dental field. However, her favourite pastime is travelling and experiencing different cultures around the world. She is fluent in Romanian and French, which is useful in the office and during her world travels.

Dr. Tejas Patel was born and raised in India. After completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the Faculty of Dental Sciences, Dharmsinh Desai University in India, he started his Journey in Canada in 2012 from Thunder Bay, Ontario, where he studied dental hygiene. Being an outdoor enthusiast, Dr.Patel selected Calgary, the heart of the Canadian Rockies, to practice dentistry. While practicing dental hygiene, Dr. Patel completed the equivalency process for the National Dental Examination Board of Canada and received his license to practice dentistry in Canada. Dr.Patel enjoys all the aspects of general dentistry. He strongly believes in preventive dentistry and likes to build long-term relationships with his patients and help them become informed participants in their oral health care. He enjoys travelling in his spare time with his better half Cherry. And you can also find him enjoying outdoor activities like skiing, rafting, hiking and swimming.

She has earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Centre at San Antonio. She provides comprehensive general dentistry for the entire family. She likes music and loves to spend time with her kids in her spare time.
